(Chino, Calif., September 6, 2016) – Chino Valley Medical Center (CVMC) has participated in Medline’s Pink Glove Dance competition for the third time. Medline’s Pink Glove Dance Competition is a breast cancer prevention campaign that unites the community, healthcare practitioners and survivors to raise money for a cure and to honor those who have been affected, per pinkglovedance.com.
CVMC took home 1st place in the Small Bed Category and 2nd Place in School Health category in 2015. Last year’s first place win brought in $10,000, donated to Relay for Life. A first place win for this year would benefit The Let it Be Foundation, based in Chino, CA. The Let it Be Foundation assists and cares for families who have children suffering through life-threatening diagnosis.
“We are thrilled to dance for a great cause. We want to bring awareness to the survivors, they are our heroes.” Shares Christen Grelling, MSN, FNP, PHN and Interim Chief Nursing Officer of CVMC. “It is a fun way to get our staff involved in doing even more wonderful things for our community. It’s an even better experience to include our community partners in the dance so that we represent the community of Chino Valley. You will be surprised who we got to dance with us this year! We hope to win the $10,000 prize money to donate it to The Let it Be Foundation so they can continue to support families in their time of need.”
