Cardiopulmonary
The Cardiopulmonary Department at Chino Valley Medical Center provides around-the-clock care by licensed respiratory care practitioners who specialize in keeping you breathing healthier! We use the latest technology and ultra modern equipment for testing, diagnosing, and treating cardiopulmonary, neuromuscular, and respiratory disorders. Our staff is trained to care, educate, and provide up-to-the-minute healthcare resources to our patients and their families.
Cardiovascular Lab
Our brand new, state-of-the-art Cardiovascular (“Cath Lab”) offers diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, as well as peripheral angiograms, peripheral angioplasty, and stent placement (peripheral angiographs of leg, abdomen, kidney, and carotid blood vessels). Our “Cath Lab” will provide the Chino Valley community with yet another vital resource to immediately treat our patients with cardiovascular complications.
CVMC Cath Lab will feature the following:
- GE’s MacLab IT hemodynamic monitoring system
- GE’s Innova cardiology image review
- Panorama CS100 intelligent counterpulsation intra-aortic balloon pump
- Pyxis MedStation 3000 advanced automated medication management system
- Lifepak 12 defibrillator/monitor series
- PACS digital filmless radiology
Imaging Services
The Imaging Center at Chino Valley Medical Center offers a full spectrum of services including state-of-the-art CT, MRI, diagnostic x-ray, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and mammography. We service over 40,000 patients per year. Most services are available on a 24 hour basis. A PAC (Picture Archiving & Communication) System is available, which allows quick, accurate radiographic readings throughout the night.
Clinical Lab
Chino Valley Madical Center offers a full clinical laboratory, which provides Point-of care, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood band, Serology and immunology services. It is the only full medical facility that is certified to offer Hepatitis Panels and In-House HIV testing
Critical Care/Stepdown Unit
The unit provides high quality nursing care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The unit offers eight beds and is available to provide Stepdown Services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Patient satisfaction surveys rank in the 96-100 percentile demonstrating the commitment to care.
Surgical Services
The five areas of service that make up the Surgical Services department are surgery, pre-operative holding area, post-anesthesia care unit, special procedures room, and central sterile supply. Surgery has four operating suites. The types of surgery provided are General, Urological, Gynecological, Orthopedic, Plastic, Vascular, ENT, and Endoscopic.
The post-anesthesia care unit cares for not only post-surgical patients, but also patients following special procedures. Gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures are the most common procedure. The department addresses the dynamics and complexity of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients needing surgical procedures 24 hours a day. The department is functionally segregated from other hospital units and is staffed and equipped with the necessary specialized equipment to meet the needs of those patients requiring surgery.
Pharmacy
The Pharmacy department provides safe, cost effective, comprehensive and progressive pharmaceutical services of the highest quality in order to maximize care for patients of all ages. The pharmacy department complies with the applicable laws and regulations.
Bio-Medical
The Biomedical Department provides all services necessary to maintain the medical equipment of the Hospital. In providing these
services, the department ensures that all-applicable requirements, codes, and laws are complied with.
