(Chino, CA – October 7, 2016) – Chino Valley Medical Center is proud to announce the new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Christen Grelling, RN, MSN, FNP, PHN.
Grelling attended Azusa Pacific University earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and continued to pursue her Masters in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner from California State University at Long Beach. She began at Chino Valley Medical Center as the Magnet Program Director, followed by the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Cardiac Catheterization Lab Director. Christen has consistently delivered high quality work ethic and passion for nursing, while simultaneously leading and mentoring her staff.
“Christen is going to bring renewed energy into our hospital,” Shares James M. Lally, DO, MMM, President and Chief Medical Officer. “She shows compassion for our patients and their families and is responsive to the needs of her staff and our hospital. Everyone is so proud of her accomplishments, this is well deserved.” Mrs. Grelling has a passion for the community that is unmatched. By definition, a Public Health Nurse works within the community to improve the overall health of the area.
